The property

Sitting at the centre of the excitement within the lively town of Skipton, you will find the charming dwelling of 4 Prospect Place.

Just a stone's throw away from the vast green landscapes of the Yorkshire Dales, this warm and inviting abode is the perfect base from which to enjoy the very best that the English countryside has to offer.

As you step inside this newly-refurbished home, discover an attractive and traditional sitting room featuring two plush sofas and an eye-catching gas stove, ideal for snuggling up and enjoying an entertaining evening indoors on those cold winter nights.

Continuing through the property, a well-designed contemporary kitchen can be found boasting a plethora of appliances such as an electric oven and hob, as well as hosting a pretty country-style dining table where you can indulge in many delicious meals.

Climb the staircase up to the first floor and be greeted by two lovely bedrooms; the master bedroom includes a king-size zip & lock bed, which can be divided into two separate single beds if required, whilst a second bedroom is home to a futon, allowing for flexible sleeping arrangements.

Here you will also find a sizable bathroom with both a bath and shower over.

Head out to the enclosed garden for a breath of fresh air, or grab your walking boots and waterproof coats and head for the great outdoors.

Often referred to as 'The Gateway to the Yorkshire Dales', it's little wonder that Skipton has become a firm favourite amongst many holiday makers.

Spend your days wandering the canals that line the town, or delight in a tour of the 12th century Skipton Castle and the Craven Museum and Gallery.

See the beautifully-restored Embsay & Bolton Abbey Steam Railway, or head deeper into the Yorkshire Dales to discover the Stepping Stones, Bolton Abbey and The Strid Ancient Woodland.

Admire colourful flowers and the well-kept lawns of Parcevall Hall Gardens, or discover the quirky and unqiue geological site of Malham Cove on an awe-inspiring hike through the Malham Tarn Estate.

Escape to the beautiful Yorkshire countryside with a holiday to 4 Prospect Place.

Known as “The Gateway to the Dales”, Skipton is well placed for visiting all that the Dales has to offer, whilst York, the Lake District and the West Coast are also within easy motoring distance. This lovely market town has much to interest the enthusiastic visitor, boasting an ancient castle open to the public, a beautiful old parish church and a colourful market occupying the cobbled setts each side of the high street. In 2008 the Academy of Urbanism voted the High Street the best shopping spot in Britain, and The Copper Dragon/Greyhawk Brewery is highly rated in the CAMRA listings.
