“Very Very noisy location, would not stay again”

Thank you so much for your feedback and I'm sorry that this impacted your stay. Many of our guests enjoy the ambience, but I have taken your comment on board and will be looking at double/triple glazing the room in the very near future. - Sykes owner relations

The property

Only a short walk from the high-street, Angel Cottage makes an excellent touring base for York, the Lake District and the West Coast beyond.

Perfect for families or a group of travellers, this cottage offers a unique holiday experience: a chance to come together with your loved ones and relax in comfort.

Be welcomed by the pleasant lounge, designed with a bay window, two lovely sofas and a warming fire, to set the scene for a cosy night in.

The property also has a logburner.

After preparing those delightful meals in the contemporary kitchen, why not settle down in the dining room, which also doubles up as a snug with a sumptuous sofa, so you can relax in true style?

Wander upstairs, past the park views, and choose from a selection of bedrooms including a master suite, presented as a super king-size, alongside two doubles.

All rooms benefit from TV's and the charming décor is a breath of fresh air.

To complete the formation, a shower room is easily accessible, neighboured by a family bathroom which features a roll-top bath for a touch of originality.

Prepare for the day ahead, then spend a moment or two on the patio areas outside - located to the front and back of the cottage; a nice little suntrap to plan your adventures.

The market town of Skipton has much to interest the enthusiastic visitor, from an ancient castle open to the public, a beautiful old parish church, to a colourful market occupying the cobbled setts each side of the high street as well as many vibrant restaurants and bars.

The air view park with a leisure centre plus canals with boat rides only a few minutes walk away.

Golf, swimming, squash, tennis and snooker are all available locally, and so much more.
