    There was plenty of room for everyone with different areas in the house and lovely outside space - with a stunning view. The house was very well equipped with everything you could possibly need. Everything is of very good quality and beautifully furnished.

Situated in the pretty village of Thoralby, one and a half miles from Aysgarth Falls, in the heart of Wensleydale in North Yorkshire, is this delightful stone cottage.

Nearby Hawes is also home to Wensleydale Creamery.

Due to its position inside the Yorkshire Dales National Park, you are well-placed for accessing a variety of nature reserves, with unspoilt countryside gardens and pathways for keen walkers and cyclists.

Dominated by its large market square, which still boasts a lively Friday market, the bustling town of Leyburn is known as the ‘Gateway to Wensleydale’, with beautiful views from its western edge across the Dale. The town has much to offer with its many craft shops, galleries and tea rooms. There are many lovely walks for all abilities in this beautiful area, as well as delightful villages to explore. Also within easy reach are many other attractions, notably the Constable Burton Hall Gardens with extensive parkland and woodland walks, the Forbidden Corner with its underground passages to explore, and of course the lovely Georgian town of Richmond with its fine castle ruins.
