This cottage is extremely clean and comfortable and like a home from home. Would definitely recommend.

  • "Park Grange Cottage met all our expectations."

The owner of the property was very helpful in providing really helpful information, prior to our visit. We enjoyed staying in a lovely warm, welcoming, cottage, which was very well presented and thoughtfully equipped, with everything you would need. The cottage is very clean, tastefully furnished and decorated with little touches that make it a real home from home. The secure cycle storage was extremely useful. The table and chairs at the front of the cottage was ideal for pre dinner drinks, reading and enjoying the good weather. The Old Hall Inn across the road provides good food and a really warm welcome. The Gatekeepers Inn at Threshfield also provide good food and a warm welcome. The location is brilliant for walking to other villages along the river, including Linton and Burnsall. The Fountain Pub at Linton and The Red Lion at Burnsall are in lovely settings. The handy local bus service is very useful and there are lots of places to visit by car. The local Spar is ideal for picking up a range of fresh and store cupboard foods, as well as petrol. It is an easy walk into the historic town of Grassington, with plenty of places to eat and drink, plus independent shops. As big fans of the Chanel 5 TV programme All Creatures Great and Small, we were fortunate enough to watch some filming for the next series. What a lovely part of the world! We would definitely recommend the cottage to family and friends.

  • "Park Grange Cottage is set in a stunning location and everything you could possible need to make your stay comfortable is provided by the owner."

On arrival there was a lovely welcome pack which we thoroughly enjoyed and the cottage had been cleaned to a very high standard. Despite the age of the cottage it has been tastefully decorated and brought up to date with quality fixtures and fittings. It is also very cosy with central heating and a wood burning stove for chilly evenings, lots of hot water too, comfortable beds and lovely views over the village green. The location is perfect for walks straight from the door or short drives to places such as Bolton Abbey, Skipton, Ripon, Brigham Rocks etc. There are lots of places to eat out and a local food store and petrol station in the village. We hope to stay at Park Grange again in the future and can certainly recommend the property.

The welcome pack is the best ever! The communication from the owner is friendly and very helpful. I would definitely recommend this place to stay and we hope to be back one day soon. • "Enchanting!"

This was our third visit to The Yorkshire Dales and the best yet. The location of this cottage is just ideal. We arrived on a Friday and didn't touch the car again until Wednesday. There are so many fantastic walks on the doorstep. And with Grassington just a 20 walk away with its many pubs, shops and restaurants what more could one need? The cottage itself was just ideal to return to after a days hike. Cosy and comfortable and so tastefully furnished with lots of little luxury touches throughout. Debs was the perfect host. She sent us lots of information in advance with maps of walks and recommended places to eat and was immediately responsive to any questions we had. We are already discussing when we might return and when we do I can't think of a better place to "park" ourselves than Park Grange Cottage. Thank you Debs. x

So much thought and detail has gone into it and it’s lovely. It was exactly what we needed for a week away. The welcome basket was great. I enjoyed sitting on the patio when the weather allowed. It had everything we needed for a relaxing week away. It’s in a great location in Threshfield too. If we ever come back that way we’d definitely book again.

  • "Lovely, lovely cottage."

Just a few minor things that we would have liked to have been provided- no tongs for when cooking bacon etc, no grater for grating cheese so had to use a knife! Oh, and one final thing, no shaver socket in bathroom 12v, for charging shaver or electric toothbrush- unfortunately we had to buy a pack of 3 manual toothbrushes halfway through the week as it had run out. All in all though super cottage would like to return again.

The cottage is fantastic, with everything you need, with clever decor and a very cosy feel. We enjoyed the patio at the front, watching the world go by and relaxing after a day in the hills and dales. Thank you Deb and Mick ... we loved it all !

Spotlessly clean on arrival. Furnished very tastefully throughout. Great range of walks from the door. We were helped with a week of good weather. Very cosy cottage, particularly with the bonus of a wood burning stove. Lovely small patio at front which receives sunshine for most of the day - great for morning coffee or early evening glass of wine. Good range of large scale maps for local walks available in the cottage, as well as handy walking booklets featuring walks we wouldn’t have otherwise tried. Excellent communication (thank you) from owners Deb/Mick With advice on local catering outlets. Can recommend Relish deli for Pre- prepared ready meals. C&S Cheshire

The property is in a quiet area but I would suggest parking along side the property, we park by the post box which is OK apart from the fact that the car ended up sticky with sap from the overhanging tree otherwise the holiday was great and we only had to use the car once in 7 days as the walking is second to none in this area

The welcome pack left by the owner is the best we have received. All of the equipment and furnishings were lovely and the log burner was very nice when the evening was a little chilly, although we only used it a couple of times as the central heating was very good. The shower room was really good with a drench shower as well as a normal shower. A really excellent place to stay and well positioned to explore the beautiful Dales. A short walk to the Old Hall pub where the food was good but a bit overpriced. We do recommend the Fountains Inn in Linton however.

The location in a peaceful corner yet close to a nice pub and superb general store catering for all needs, is ideal. Furthermore the owners have been most attentive and friendly and because they live nearby, and have been instantly responsive to our enquiries and information requests. The bus stops for journeys up and down the Dale are conveniently close and the service is reliable. The general area is outstanding and a variety of walks and rides can be made in all directions from the doorstep. Grassington town has many interesting features and is a pleasant walk (about 1 mile) away. We have come to UK from Bangkok for a 3 month trip and this cottage has given us a very good start to our holiday. Terry Moore and Mayuree

  • "This house is in the nicest (i."

    E. the oldest) bit of Threshfield, almost next to a shady village green and almost as close to the village pub. If anything, the outside pictures don't do justice to its situation. There are pleasant walks out from the door using minor lanes and well-maintained footpaths in several directions, and it's an ideal car touring base for upper Wharfedale and upper Airedale. The house is stone-built, very well modernised to a high standard and very comfortable, with all the equipment you could reasonably ask for. With four adults it was a little on the cosy side for eating arrangements, but perfectly adequate; when there were just the two of us it was more than big enough. Beds were very comfortable. The shower cubicle is the largest I've ever seen, I think - you could almost get a single bed in it! (No, we didn't try, Deb. ) The hospitality pack was sensational, and in our 5-day stay I don't think we managed to use all of it. We didn't come face to face with the owners, but Deb was very helpful at all times, especially in getting my rucksack back to me after I left it behind.
