“Great for dog walking straight from door beautiful view hot tub was good owners on hand o help with couple of very small problems sorted immediately could of done with a couple of tiny touches such as tin foil for cooker to replace what had been put in once we used cooker.”
Also a few toiletries and small welcome pack would have been nice, however we would definatly stay again- Mrs Aitman, April 2019
“Fab get away!”
Only downfall is that the property is being sold so we won’t be able to return!- Mrs Southall, March 2019

“Lovely birthday weekend”
I was so looking forward to come and stay at this cottage with my husband and son who was also celebrating his birthday. The cottage was absolutely beautiful, set high up in a fantastic location and well worth the money. It had snowed and we couldn’t get our car up the bridlepath and the owner was so lovely, he came down and fetched us with his young son and took us and all our stuff all the way up to the cottage! Very nice of him and his family. The cottage had a great specification and had everything we needed and was lovely and warm with spectacular views. The hot tub was fantastic and we loved the log fire and a starter pack was included. The TV remote didn’t work and we bought some new batteries and it still didn’t work but that was no problem as we watch far too much TV at home! Peaceful and remote, I could have easily stayed there a few more nights. The cottage is close to the village of Haworth, home of the Bronte’s. The Museum was unfortunately closed for renovation but we had a good walk around the cemetery and village and had a lovely lunch at Emma’s cafe. We also visited Keighley and Halifax which were in the local area. We would definetly visit again, perhaps next time in warmer weather. We will recommend this place to others. Thank you Will and Helen for a brilliant and memorable stay.- sarahsZ4916HA, February 2019
Stayed here for a long weekend with friends and it was such a lovely place to stay. The whole cottage is very clean, the kitchen is well stocked. The underfloor heating in the bathroom is awesome. The outside area is very cool too. The hot tub was so much fun, it was super clean too and had the best view! 100% recommend staying here.- Selina H, November 2018
“A beautiful property with an amazing view.”
The cottage was spotless when we arrived and very well equipped. The log burning stove made it feel very cosy and we loved the deep, roll top bath. The owners were extremely pleasant to deal with and made some great recommendations for places to eat - we even managed to get a curry delivered to our door! There is a beautiful walk right at the back of the property which was perfect for the dog. The whole area is beautiful with plenty to do and everywhere we went we (and the dog) were made very welcome.- Mrs Owen, October 2018
“Loved the Dales, very friendly people - we will return one day”- Mr Heal, September 2018
“It was wonderful!”
Such a beautiful little cottage, the hot tub was amazing, the views were stunning!- Miss Leyland, September 2018
“Absolutely loved our break at Far Stones Cottage!”
The accommodation is brilliant, so cosy and comfortable. We had a perfect holiday and thoroughly enjoyed the area, so many walks for us and the dog. Lovely little touches like milk in the fridge when we arrived. Couldn't recommend enough!- Miss Stephenson, September 2018
“The owners got in touch well in advance with some helpful info, and left us chocolates to welcome us to the cottage.”
It was exactly as described and I would highly recommend it. We had a lovely, peaceful weekend walking around the local area and relaxing in the hot tub on the evening. Perfect.- Dr Robson, September 2018
“Name of cottage at entrance to drive would help.”
Owners very friendly and helpful. We got snowed in for 24 hrs, owner offered to collect anything we needed.- Mrs Sexton, March 2018
“Loved this cottage, brilliant barn conversion in a beautiful and peaceful location.”
We were there in middle of winter but cottage lovely and warm. Lots of walks in the area and lovely towns and villages nearby. We'd definitely recommend this cottage and hope to return soon.- Mr O'connor, January 2018
“Gorgeous, welcoming cottage - a hidden gem in Haworth!”
We loved this cottage! It's so cosy, picturesque and welcoming. Will and Helen were really lovely, and even though they lived opposite the cottage, we never felt like our privacy was invaded, and felt better knowing we could call on them if we needed anything. Four of us (and a baby) stayed here, and there was adequate room. The upstairs bedroom was a great size with a separate living/dressing area, and although the second bedroom was fairly small, it was cosy and comfortable. The welcome pack that was left for us was unexpected and a lovely touch, and you really feel like you're getting such value for money here. We felt like the dogs were very safe as it was a quiet and enclosed area, and we didn't need to put them on leads to walk them up the hills surrounding the cottage. (Helen even gave our little pooch a grooming session which was so convenient!) The only thing I'd suggest would be a few more glasses and wine glasses (maybe some champagne flutes for the hot tub?) as we felt we were having to wash up a bit more than usual, but it's only a minor complaint! The hot tub area was gorgeous, it was very clean and just heavenly to sink in to after some cold country walks. We're definitely coming back when it's a bit warmer to take advantage of the bbq in the summer! Thanks Helen and Will, we'll be back soon.- fen8, January 2017

About the location
Haworth 2 miles; Hebden Bridge 6 miles; Skipton 14 miles.
The small village of Oxenhope lies amid wonderful scenery, and offers the chance to take advantage of the multitude of walks in the area. The village, with its shops, churches and pubs, is home to the terminus for the Keighley and Worth Valley Railway, an authentic steam railway brought to prominence in the film The Railway Children, which runs on a regular basis to Haworth and on down to Keighley. The area was made famous by the Bronte sisters, and the outstanding countryside was famously described in the novel Wuthering Heights as wild, rugged and barren. The area abounds with popular places to visit; the cobbled streets of Haworth, the Bronte Parsonage Museum, East Riddlesden Hall, and the Museum of Rail. The market town of Skipton, known as the Gateway to the Yorkshire Dales, is a short drive away, and also within reach are elegant Harrogate and vibrant Leeds.
