Pass through the gate and enter into the private grounds surrounding the property, beautifully backed by the remarkable green landscape, before parking up on the spacious driveway and following the path to the patio doors and into the open-plan living area, where exposed wooden beams decorate the ceiling above, maintaining the property's traditional character.

The sociable spaces boasts a wooden farmhouse style kitchen along with a dining table, perfectly positioned in the window, framing views of the greenery encompassing the cottage, and a cosy seating area featuring a rustic woodburning stove, inviting you to snuggle up on an armchair and escape into the pages of a good book for a short while.

Stepping outside to the patio, take a seat and toast a glass of fizz with your significant other to a fantastic holiday, relishing in the tranquility as you watch the sun set over the horizon.

Spaxton is a quiet rural village 6 miles west of Bridgwater within the foothills of the Quantock Hills, an area designated for its outstanding natural beauty. This Somerset village, mentioned in the Domesday Book, has retained much of the original charm, including pretty character cottages, restored almshouses, a well-stocked community shop and a friendly pub serving local produce. The Quantock Hills countryside is one of the finest in the south, they provide ample opportunity for walks, riding and mountain biking and there are magnificent views from the heath covered hilltops. The Coleridge Way is a popular long distance path through the Quantocks towards the Somerset coast and the Quantock Greenway passes through Spaxton. Local attractions offer wonderful gardens, monuments and rural arts and crafts. The historic city of Wells is nearby as is Glastonbury, well-known for pop festivals and the King Arthur legend.
