  • "Apartment was absolutely lovely large had everything we needed Everyone had their own bathroom"

  • "The Wendover has been a delight."

The accommodation was very spacious and clean. We were a party of 9 adults and 4 children but felt there was easily enough room for more of us. My granddaughter is 18 months old and loved exploring the big rooms and outside patio area. The main kitchen/diner/lounge area is fully stocked with pots, pans and cutlery with ample seating for dinner and big comfy sofa's to relax in. It's 10-15 minute walk to the nearest beach through the funfair. The owners are very friendly and helpful and the hot tub is treated every morning so is fit for use all week. Overall, really great place to stay and I would definitely recommend.

  • "Have just had the most enjoyable stay here for my 60th birthday with my family ."

We were 12 adults and 3 children. The house and the bedrooms were absolutely beautiful. Everything was spotlessly cleaned . The pub below had live music on the Friday and Saturday , which wasquite loud but it stops at 11.30 . Not one of our party moaned while we were here and everyone can’t wait to return .

  • "Lovely place!"

Very clean with lots of rooms, beds and bathrooms. Lots of things close by for families. Only one be issue we had was that there were some sharp corners on furniture, coffee table etc! We had a toddler who fell and cut his head on the corner of the table! Simple protection would make it much safer!

  • "Absolutely stunning appartment with full range of equipment."

Bathrooms are beautiful, and the beds are very comfortable. There were 14 of us and there was ample room for everyone. Perfect location to visit Rhyl or Llandudno. Just a wonderful place to stay! Thanks so much

  • "The place was great except for parking."

The garage took all our parking slots and yet it was clearly showing that we needed to have free parking. We had to go round the premise to move things around. The pub kept locking the emergency exit which was our last resort to accessing the house. Other than that, the place is wonderful. They could do with warm up some of the rooms on the 3rd floor.

  • "The property was absolutely gorgeous."

It has everything you need and more! It’s in a great location, and with it being on top of a pub it’s good for large groups that may make a bit more noise. I had the best weekend staying here!

  • "I recently had the pleasure of staying at this lodge with a group of 10 adults, and I must say it was an exceptional experience."

The lodge's interior was beautifully decorated, creating a cozy and inviting atmosphere. It was fully equipped with everything we needed, making our stay convenient and hassle-free. The cleanliness of the lodge was impeccable, and the spaciousness was a pleasant surprise, giving us plenty of room to relax and unwind. The kitchen was well-appointed, allowing us to prepare our meals effortlessly. The lounge area was outstanding, with comfortable sofas that were perfect for lounging and socializing. The bedrooms were a good size, and the beds were incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep. The bathrooms were large and spotlessly clean, featuring excellent showers that offered a refreshing start to our days. The icing on the cake was the nice hot tub, which provided a soothing and enjoyable way to relax after our adventures. What truly stood out was how accommodating the lodge was to our needs. The landlord was incredibly attentive and friendly, making sure our stay was nothing short of fantastic. The lodge's location in a nice area added to the overall appeal, allowing us to enjoy the natural surroundings. The only minor issue we encountered during our stay was that the TV in the main lounge had a crackly sound when we turned up the volume. However, this was a minor inconvenience that did not significantly detract from our overall enjoyment of the lodge. The other wonderful amenities and the excellent service we received more than made up for this small hiccup. In summary, our stay at this lodge was nothing short of exceptional. From the beautiful decor to the comfortable amenities and the accommodating landlord, it was a memorable experience that I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway.

Resting above a pub and restaurant of the same name and boasting ample, luxurious facilities, The Wendover guarantees a marvellous stay for a family or group of 16.

The apartment enjoys access to ample off-road parking in an enclosed area, with enough space for everyone in the family to safely park their vehicles, before climbing the stairs to this impressive abode.

Head inside to a stylish open-plan living space, with a contemporary kitchen hosting everything the designated chef needs to make mouthwatering meals for all the family to enjoy at the peninsula dining table.

The apartment also boasts a well-equipped terrace; this space is ideal for an alfresco meal, where you can enjoy a soak in the hot tub afterwards.

Back in the open-plan living space, settle down at the sitting area in front of the Smart TV with a glass of wine, or venture to the games room where a bar, table football, arcade table and a projector provide even more evening entertainment!

The games room additionally opens out to a balcony, where glimpses of the sea can be seen.

After enjoying quality time with your group, choose one of seven fantastic bedrooms to rest in, the first, a family room on the first floor, enjoying access to a nearby shower room, where a luxurious unwind can be enjoyed in the space's sauna and multi-jet power shower.

Ascend the stairs to the second floor; where five of the remaining six bedrooms rest made up of three doubles; all of these bedrooms are home to flatscreen TVs that are integrated into beds, making for perfect nighttime entertainment!

Last, but not least, the beautifully-appointed master bedroom, lies at the end of the second-floor corridor, hosting an emperor bed and enjoying its own TV, walk-in wardrobe, en-suite bathroom with a Jacuzzi bath and multi-jet power shower, along with access to a twin bedroom; perfect for four members of the group seeking a little more privacy.

When you're feeling peckish, head down to the ground floor to the Wendover Pub and be served hearty meals with a pint, or wander a short distance into the heart of Towyn to access well-equipped shops and tasty eateries.

Towyn truly makes for a memorable day out, with its Tir Prince Fun Park providing families with amusements and fairground rides, the Tir Prince Raceway offering regular events and, of course, the stunning shores of Kinmel Bay Beach and its adjoining promenade providing ample fun in the sun.

Cross the River Clwyd to Rhyl, home to a large variety of things to do, from its aquarium and water park, to its miniature railway and country park.

For even more coastal fun, travel a little further to Prestatyn, where a beachfront golf club, the beautiful Gronant Dunes and several beaches can be found.

There is plenty to do in Conwy, with more coastal settlements being found nearby, including Llandudno and Colwyn Bay, along with the historic county town of Conwy and the vast Snowdonia National Park resting within easy reach.

There is so much fun waiting to be had at The Wendover.
