About the location

LANARK

The town of Lanark sits within the central belt of Scotland, in the beautiful Lower Clyde Valley. It has become a popular visitor destination and town has a strong agricultural tradition, home to one of the largest agricultural markets in Scotland. The town sits on the national William Wallace trail as the place where the story began through his love for his wife. Other local attractions include: Lanark Loch, which adjoins Lanark Golf Course, Castlebank Park, and the Scottish Equestrian Hotel with pony-trekking activities and riding holidays.
