Beaches in Looe

A visit to Looe isn’t complete without a day at the beach! To experience more of this wonderful coast, head to East Looe Beach and take in the beauty surrounding Looe Bay, or visit Millendreath Beach for a quieter day at the seaside. Whitsand Bay is another great option for surfing, relaxing walks and sunbathing on the sand.

Attractions in Looe

Walkers will enjoy following the South West Coast Path from Looe to Polperro, one of many fabulous Looe days out. This picturesque route also takes in the ruins of a medieval chapel and an early Christian holy site. The Old Guildhall Museum and Gaol offers a historic look into Looe’s history, dating back to the 15th century, this building boasts original features and ancient cells.

Take the ferry to Looe Island to spot wildlife, before sampling a classy Looe restaurant. Another great Looe thing to do is visit The Monkey Sanctuary, allowing visitors to see the rescued primates and learn all about them, whilst the nearby Adventure Fit Southwest is the perfect activity for thrill-seekers and outdoor lovers.
