Our Trellech Travel Guide includes… Places to stay, things to do and how to get to Trellech

Trellech is a small Welsh village with a big history, resting within the Wye Valley AONB.

Now a peaceful holiday spot, Trellech was one one of the largest settlements in medieval Wales. It was destroyed in the 15th-century Welsh Revolt, you can now explore the lost city of Trellech. The Lost City of Trellech centre allows visitors to play their own part in bringing the city back, with dig experience days.

The surrounding Wye Valley AONB is a gorgeous landscape of rolling hills, leafy woodlands, dramatic gorges and historic towns. Climb Trellech’s Beacon Hill, the highest point in the county, rewarding you with views across these spectacular terrains.
