Visitors from the continent driving by car will need to board a car ferry and will usually arrive in Dover or Portsmouth on the South coast. From Dover, drivers should take the M20 to London where they can continue their journey to anywhere in the UK.

Travelling by train to England from Continental Europe involves taking the Eurostar train to Ashford International in Kent or Kings Cross-St Pancras International in Central London. From Central London, you can take onward rail travel to anywhere in England.
