One of the top things to do in Yarmouth is the incredible Needles landmark attraction. The chairlift is a superb way to view the island’s finest features, including the stunning cliffs and beaches. The attraction also contains a 4D cinema, the Alum Bay Glass workshop and a sweet factory for the children.

Dig deep into the local history by visiting Yarmouth Castle. This 16th-century artillery fort is now an English Heritage site allowing visitors to explore the remains Henry VIII once constructed.

Those visiting Yarmouth with children should make a stop off at Tapnell Farm Park, an award-winning attraction featuring bouncy pillows, pedal go-karts, crazy golf, sledge slide and much more! The West Wight Alpacas and Llamas attraction is a hidden gem thing to do in Yarmouth, promising a great day out for the entire family.

If you are seeking something more active, the Isle of Wight Aqua Park is located just a short distance away and the Wight Cycle Hire attraction means you can meander along with the Yarmouth to Freshwater cycleway at ease.

If you are an avid beachcomber, you will be spoilt for choice by the plethora of sandy beaches that await you on the Isle of Wight. Nearby beaches include; Alum Bay Beach, Freshwater Bay, Totland Bay, Compton Bay and Brook Beach. A visit to the Isle of Wight would not be complete without a beach stop!
