Solway Firth coast lake district

The Cumbria Coastal Way is a 182-mile trail that begins at Silverdale in Lancashire and ends at the border town of Gretna. Rich in wildlife and archaeological Heritage Sites, the route traverses through the Lake District towns of Grange-Over-Sands, Ulverston and the village of Ravenglass.

This enormous Lake District walk can be split into several sections depending on how fast you walk and how much time you have, with each section just as jaw-dropping as the next.

There is much to discover in between the station at Silverdale and the Metal Bridge just outside of Carlisle, appealing to tastes and interests of all kinds.
