Dovestone Reservoir Walk

The Dovestone Reservoir Walk is an enchanting route found within the Peak District National Park.

This walk follows an accessible route great for those visiting with wheelchairs and pushchairs, as well as being dog-friendly!

Dovestone Reservoir in Oldham is a beautiful spot to spend a day on a Peak District walk. Enjoy a circular route around the waters, with plenty of opportunities for outdoor adventure such as fishing and birdwatching.

The Dovestone Reservoir is also a must-visit for any keen equestrian, making up part of the Pennine Bridleway.

An access path makes this route wonderfully accessible for all, however if you are visiting with a wheelchair or pram, it is recommended to complete the route anti-clockwise, as there is a steep section near Yeoman Hey Reservoir.
