Hole in t’Wall

The Hole in t’Wall, Bowness’ oldest pub, is not to be missed! This quaint little pub, once frequented by Charles Dickens, is located off the beaten path, accessible via a winding street leading from the village centre.

After a day of exploring the fells, head indoors to Hole in the Wall for some substantial pub grub. The sample menu features pub favourites, sandwiches, jacket potatoes, and kid-friendly dishes.

There’s a comprehensive choice of award-winning Robinsons’ ale, wines, and spirits for those wishing to unwind with a sip in hand. If you’re lucky, you could even catch some live music to enjoy in the evening!
