Pentargon Waterfall

The spectacular Pentargon Waterfall and high Beeny Cliff are the features referenced by Tom Hardy as ‘chasmal beauty’ in his poem Under the Waterfall. The waterfall drops 37 metres to Seals’ Hole below it where more than 100 seals have been spotted at one time.

The waterfall can be viewed from Pentargon Cliff or on the route to Beeny on the other side. During blustery days the fall can turn to an uprising spray, a majestic display of natural, rugged beauty.
