Directions

  1. Starting Point: Turn left at the Sheringham Park Visitor Centre past the Bower and follow the red arrows. Veer left between the rhododendrons and then right at the five-bar gate.
  2. The Handkerchief Tree: Turn right at the bottom of the hill, passing a former sawmill and following the signposts to Weybourne Station.
  3. Weybourne Station: Go left at the pond, veering left of a barrier onto Weybourne Heath. Turn left at the National Trust sign, passing another pond on the right, veerying left and out of the woods. Weybourne Station should be on your left.
  4. Weybourne: Continue past a shed, leaving the sign-posted red arrow route. Go through the gate to the station and head towards the sea. Cross the footbridge and follow the path towards Weybourne.
  5. T-Junction: Turn right at the T-junction toward Kelling and Sheringham before turning left and walking past a bus stop. Turn right at the Ship Inn and onto Beach Road.
  6. Sheringham Park: At the beach, turn right and follow a sandy path along the edge of the cliff. Cross a kissing gate and pass a Sheringham Park sign and red market post. At the second marker, turn right, cross the railway bridge and pass a barn.
  7. The Gazebo: When you reach the road, turn right, eventually crossing the road by a telegraph pole. Go through a gate, following the path to The Gazebo viewing platform.
  8. Sheringham Hall: Climb to the top of The Gazebo, joining the path before veering left. Go through a gate, veering left and following the path in front of Sheringham Hall. Continue past the hall, through a cattle grid gate.
  9. The Temple: Go right at the market post, climbing the hill to the Temple. From here, follow the arrows to the right, crossing a five-bar gate. Follow the path, veering left at the marker post and onto a path leading to the visitor centre.
