Valley Gardens Harrogate
Open all year round, Valley Gardens Harrogate is a Grade II listed park sitting in regal Low Harrogate. It offers 17-acres of ground to explore, including an endearing woodland known as The Pinewoods. The Pinewoods span across 96 acres, offering winding trails into the RHS Garden Harlow Carr.
In the middle of Valley Gardens is Bogs Field, where numerous mineral water springs and wells have appeared. This is a natural wonder, due to the park having more of these than any other place on earth!
On a walk around the park, you’ll be in awe of its wealth of vibrant flowers and historic monuments. The Valley Gardens Harrogate is so gorgeous, it’s even won the 2019 Britain in Bloom Gold Medal!
For those feeling slightly more active, find opportunities for tennis, golfing, boating and a children’s play area in the Valley Gardens. Or if you are visiting during the summer months, band concerts take place on Sunday afternoons.
