Y Gogarth Great Orme Country Park
The Great Orme is an area of headland rising from the sea at Llandudno.
Whether you fancy doing some birdwatching, finding out about the natural history, or simply enjoying a walk, there’s something for you here.
The Great Orme is two miles long and one mile wide and rises 207 metres from the sea. Much of the headland is a designated Special Conservation Area, a Site of Special Scientific Interest and a Heritage Coast.
The Great Orme Country Park visitor centre is a great place to learn about the area. Here you can watch the sea bord colonies via a live video link, watch films, view rock pool creatures in the aquarium, and view interactive displays.
The centre also makes the perfect starting point for your walk across the country park itself.
