  • "Used to be a 10 but not as good as it was a few years ago."

Don't get the little extras anymore like the rolos in the fridge and the included fizz etc.. also no scrabble board.

FOREST OF DEAN

Explore the woodland trails and open meadows of Britain's most famous forest - home to tawny owls, roe deer and badgers. There’s a canopy of oak trees, which feels like a different world. Venture out to the Wye Valley, conquer the soaring outcrop of Symonds Yat and explore Puzzlewood, or try your hand at canoeing, llama trekking and mountain biking. Symonds Yat straddles the River Wye on the Herefordshire and Gloucestershire borders. The perfect spot for a summer day out, it’s half an hour’s walk through the woods from the Forest of Dean cabin. After watching the peregrines at Symonds Yat Rock, take a riverside walk and then enjoy a hearty meal at the Saracen’s Head Inn. A great way to understand something of the character of the Forest of Dean is to take a whistle stop tour of its four market towns, Cinderford, Cole ford, Lydney, and Newent, each with a different but related history.
