On the edge of Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park, glimpse views of Loch Lubnaig (perfect for canoeing) or nestle into a forest glade and look out for Pine Martens and Red deer as you tackle mountainside hikes and wild woodland trails. Enjoy days out to Blair Drummond Safari Park and Stirling Castle, or hire bikes and jump on the National Cycling Route 7 and Glen Finglas Loop – then stop off at Callander’s best pubs and restaurants.

Places to Visit During Strathyre Forest Holidays

With tonnes of unique and exciting places to visit from Strathyre Forest, you’ll have no issues planning your itinerary whilst staying here on your next break.  For example, the bustling town of Callander can be found by taking just a 10-minute drive from the site. Is parking available at Strathyre?
Yes, every one of these Strathyre lodges has two allocated parking spaces, directly outside the cabin or along a pathway. Additional cars can be registered with the team and parked at the Forest Retreat just a short walk from your cabin, free of charge.
Can I charge my electric vehicle at Strathyre Forest?
Unfortunately, there are no facilities available for charging electric vehicles at Strathyre Forest.
Is there WiFi at Stathyre Forest lodges?
Basic internet access is available at these Strathyre Forest lodges. However, you can upgrade to premium WiFi during your stay with an in-cabin entertainment package. This can be purchased either before or during your stay (subject to availability). WiFi is also available for use in the Forest Retreat.
What time is check-in/check-out?
You can check-in between 16:00 and 20:00 on the day of arrival. Check-out is before 10:00 on the morning of departure. For a supplementary fee, your stay can be extended with early check-in (14:00) or a late check-out (12:00).

Strathyre is in Scotland’s walking country and the clean mountain air is matched by stunning landscape views. Pick up the Rob Roy Way for some enjoyable lochside walks or head up to the Lodge Forest Visitor Centre to explore the Queen Elizabeth Forest Park. Nearby Callander is most closely associated with the Rob Roy legend. Shop for souvenirs on the busy high street before escaping to the banks of the River Teith for a peaceful picnic.
