Coast, countryside and moorland are nearby, giving an authentic Yorkshire feel. Pickering is the closest town to Keldy and along with Ryedale's other towns of Helmsley, Kirkbymoorside, Malton and Norton, it has independent shops, art galleries, excellent restaurants, and a host of festivals and special events.
