2 Customer Reviews

  • "We had a lovely cabin with wheelchair access which was why we booked."

Would have used the hot tub if the weather had been a little better as my son would have got cold in the time it would have taken to get him in and out. We are likely to book again in the spring

CROPTON FOREST

Wildlife feels closer than ever in the woodland meadow of Cropton Forest. This spot is right near Yorkshire’s rugged beaches and under open skies is perfect for stargazing. Cropton is in the heart of one of the UK’s most dramatic and beautiful counties and it’s possible to catch a glimpse of tawny owls and roe deer. There are hundreds of walks you can take around Cropton Forest. Some begin from your cabin door at Cropton, some take you across miles of moorland or along dramatic coastal paths and others are climbs to waterfalls, rocky outcrops and magnificent views. The North Yorkshire coast is just a 45-minute drive and offers the bucket-and-spade beach appeal of Scarborough, the Gothic allure of Whitby and fishing and smuggling heritage of the harbour town of Robin Hood’s Bay.
