  • "So relaxing , cabins had everything you meeded"

  • "Beds comfy but too high for a wheelchair user to transfer easily on."

Huge plus is accessible lodge and hot tub though. Main pathways very degraded and tricky to get around on. Love the location. TV very annoying brightness and wouldn't switch off. TV Not easy to use. Food very good but expensive. Staff great.

SHERWOOD FOREST

Immersed in Robin Hood history and surrounded by statuesque pine trees, there's 3300 acres of Nottinghamshire woodland for the adventurer-at-heart. Relax in the embrace of Sherwood’s peaceful forest or make the most of your time together with epic experiences. Take the short walk through the forest to Sherwood Pines Visitor Centre. Here you can hire cycles, enjoy the children’s play area, and spend time in the café. Go Ape is also close by. For Robin Hood adventures, head four miles up the road to Sherwood Forest Country Park, where you will also find the world-famous Major Oak and a further 900 veteran oak trees. No trip to Sherwood Forest is complete without following in the footsteps of Robin Hood. Edwinstowe is the closest village to our cabins and is at the heart of the legend. This charming village has a history stretching back nearly 1500 years and there’s even a story that Robin Hood and Maid Marian were married here.
