See & do near your Plymouth cottage

Take the Historic Bus Tour and trace the steps of Drake, Raleigh and other distinguished figures as you get to know this extraordinary seafaring port. Explore the immaculately restored Elizabethan Barbican, featuring stylish shops and trendy places to eat and drink in a lovely harbour setting. See the Mayflower Steps and learn all about the great expedition at the Mayflower Exhibition.

Take a water taxi across to Mount Batten for fantastic views over Plymouth Sound, a superb centre for water sports (canoeing, surfing, diving, sailing etc), as well as more bars and restaurants. Indeed, Plymouth offers a huge range of dining and entertainment venues. Amble along the seafront, with its elegant colonnade, past the Citadel to Plymouth Hoe for more wonderful sea views.
