  • "Eight of us stayed in this fantastic house and everyone was so impressed with everything."

There was home made bread, which was amazing, milk in the fridge and lots of lovely touches throughout the house. The whole house was spotless. Someone has an eye for detail, the lamps, bedding and soft furnishings were if great quality. The scenery was amazing and the weather was on our side too. Some of us met members of the family who were lovely too. What an amazing location. We will definitely be back. Thank you.

It's a credit to the owners who definitely go the extra mile to ensure you have a great stay and are so friendly when you see them around the farm. Views on a clear day are amazing. If you want a relaxing holiday then this is the place to stay. Already planning our next visit.

  • "The photos don't do this property justice!"

A beautiful home, plenty of space, comfortable seating and sleeping accommodation. Spotlessly clean and fresh, tastefully decorated but not so cluttered that there is no room for a holiday maker's 'stuff'. Kitchen well equipped. Views of the numerous ferries, and nearby lighthouse, which you can walk to. Set on a tidy, working farm so we enjoyed a daily visit with the neighbouring calves. Would be a lovely retreat at Christmas time, stock up on food and settle in for a perfect, cosy, family get together. Delicious welcome pack and lovely hosting family who live in the nearby farmhouse! Highly recommend this house!

Great location with beautiful views out to sea, and to the lighthouse - the conservatory was a great place to sit and watch the ferries go by. Would love to come back again one day.

  • "This lodge was exceptional with comfortable and spacious rooms that were decorated to a very high standard."

The size of the lodge, the rooms, and the outside spaces meant that we as a family of 7 adults and 2 babies never got under one another's feet. The kitchen was fully equipped, far better than any other house that I have stayed in. The views, from every window, were beautiful. On arrival we found freshly baked bread, butter and pickle, as well as a bottle of wine, what a lovely touch. The hosts were extremely helpful, from our first contact to the last. It was be impossible to give a higher recommendation.

  • "Our first impressions when we walked through the door were “what a beautiful house”."

Very spacious, comfortable, spotlessly clean, bedding was fresh and crisp, very well equipped kitchen and the whole property was cosy and warm. The views are amazing and change every day depending on the weather with plenty of walks from the door. The friendly owner sorted out a couple of minor problems we had straight away which was much appreciated. They left a very generous welcome pack for us including; cheese, wine, butter, milk, pickle, Irish bread and fresh flowers. Lots of information for the local area was provided. The property is remote making it quiet and peaceful but you can’t just pop to the shop if you forget something, so you need a good memory (or shopping list!)

  • "A wonderful property with spectacular views."

The Lodge is very well appointed with lots of lovely, homely touches. The bedrooms and public rooms are very comfortable, and our party loved spending time looking out on the sheep and cows right outside! We walked to the nearby lighthouse which is a gentle, family friendly walk. Lots of great things to see in the area (a visit to Sandhead highly recommended), and Corsewell Castle Farm Lodges are a fantastic base for a stay in the area. Thank you!

  • "We had an excellent stay in this beautiful house (Lodge 1) with the most spectacular views out to sea."

The property is isolated but this is what gives it the wow factor. Yes you have to travel to visit various places but then you return to the peace and tranquility of the Lodge. The property is well equipped with a nice welcome pack, the homemade soda bread was delicious. We were a group of 4 adults and 3 children. If you want visitor attractions on your doorstep then this is probably not for you but if you want a nice house to stay in set in spectacular scenery with the best sea views then this is the one!

One of the bedrooms unusable due to water ingress but we were 3 couples and so plenty of bedrooms which were light , airy and nicely warm.
