  • "Had the most amazing week in this beautiful house and cannot wait to book it again."

  • "Absolutely loved our stay at Polurrian for a week in September 23."

Lovely comfortable barn conversion with good facilities and comfy double beds with quality bed linen. The 2 single beds were not really suitable or comfortable enough for adults; fine for children I expect. Super quiet area with friendly neighbor (as long as you park correctly

  • "Beautifully appointed property, comfy beds, clean crisp bedding and fluffy towels."

Trees in back garden spoils view and makes the patio too damp and with green covered algae. Hot tub was nice, garden could do with mowing, family loved the place, plenty of room, facilities were good. Some high areas could do with a cobweb clearout.

  • "We had a lovely stay at Polurrian House."

The house was perfect, very spacious, clean and comfortable. We were blessed with good weather which enabled us to discover the Lizard Peninsula. We particular enjoyed Kynance Cove and Praa sands for the early morning walks with the dog.

Apologies We’ll have a look at the lock again when we’re down next I did manage to get in yesterday but I agree it’s a bit fiddly Thanks for the feedback Property Owner

  • "We thoroughly enjoyed staying at Polurrian house - thank you!"

The facilities and cleanliness were excellent as was the large living/dining space and ample sleeping options for a group of 7. We loved the hot tub too with the beautiful garden view. Would highly recommend for a relaxing, rural stay.

I can’t think of anything negative to say. We got together as a family for my 60th birthday and the house was perfect to accommodate us all. Thanks

Perfect location to explore Cornwall, have a large German Shepherd who loved the Garden. Found the neighbours Graham & Anne who are resident really friendly and helpful. Highly recommend staying here and definitely will be returning.

  • "Very nice house, and cleaned immaculately."

Lovely linens on the beds, big fluffy towels. Slept like babies. Kitchen is very well stocked , with lots of pans and pots, plates .etc Big dishwasher was a big help. Some of the doors stick but with a bit of a push they'll give. The garden and outside area is amazing. Nice outside furniture and a balcony that you can see the sea from. Hottub was lovely and toasty too. Sadly the neighbour did put a slight downer on the holiday. We had just got our bags in and he knocked in, asking us to move our cars ASAP, as it was blocking his garage. As you look at the property, it was the neighbour on the right. Also mentioned that we "shouldn't be loud in the hottub, or up late with loud music" Not Polurrian House owners fault, the property is lovely. One thing I will say is the fences in the back garden are very low. Our dog cleared them no problem. If you have an escapologist dog would advise long line. TV in living room is on a really good swivel bracket and can move to any position, and is 4k. Really glad I took my PS5 down with me. Very nice place. Would recommend.

  • "Had a lovely week at Polurrian House with family last week, the facilities were great and the location is stunning."

So many local, beautiful beaches, walks and places to visit. You can watch the cows at the local farm from the balcony coming out in the morning and coming back to bed late afternoon which is nice. The house is on a sort of little complex with 3/4 other houses either occupied by their individual owners or by other people on holiday. The house has 3 good sized rooms with ensuites, and 1 with no ensuite but is next door to a bathroom. The house is stated as having a secure garden for dogs, and it is fully fenced, however, if you have a dog smaller than a small beagle size there is a possibility they will get through one side of the fence into the next doors garden. You have access to 3 car spaces (number 3, the garage behind it and the space between them). The description stated 2 spaces when we booked, but in the documentation the house has inside it mentions these 3 spaces. The house in general was spotless, cleaned to a very high standard and lovely welcome gifts provided when we arrived. A few things to note for the servicing team/owner that if we don't mention you may not know about, is that the bedroom door downstairs to the room without an ensuite, once you shut that door, you will struggle to get out of it without an almighty tug. It needs shaving slightly to fit well. Also the same for the downstairs bedroom with single beds, the ensuite door does not shut at all for the same reason. We couldn't find a light switch that worked either the front or back garden lights, so using the hot tub after dark was a bit hard, probably just the bulbs needing changing. Other than those easy fixes, a great holiday home, highly recommended

  • "Beautiful property within easy reach of several entertainment facilities for the family."

Lots of wonderful beaches. Only one tiny problem. Pillows on beds were foam. Much prefer feather pillows. Really impacted my sleep.

Very many thanks for your comments. Glad you enjoyed your stay. Feather pillows in addition to the foam pillows will be added shortly. Hope you visit again Property Owner
