  • "A lovely place to stay, in a particularly special little corner of Herefordshire."

It well lives up to its name; expect to spend no small part of your holiday staring out of the windows. Beautiful stars and birdsong too. Would recommend.

Thank you Erica, we do agree the Valley is very special and the birdsong is wonderful these spring days. We’re glad you enjoyed your stay and hope you return Property Owner

  • "Robin and Helen were very welcoming, friendly, and helpful."

Wine, Welsh cakes, crisps and milk were there for our arrival, and they also gave us home grown tomatoes and carrots, and we really appreciated their thoughtfulness in all of this. Valley View is a very nice cottage, the bed is comfortable, and we had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. It is also in a very quiet and peaceful place, with a view of the valley, which added to the pleasure of it all. We are very pleased that we stayed there.

  • "A real gem of a cottage, which certainly lives up to its name of Valley View - the view from the patio and upstairs windows is simply stunning!"

The gardens are truly gorgeous, clearly the work of knowledgeable gardeners, and enhance the view even more! There are walks aplenty, along tranquil local lanes, from the front door! The inside of the cottage is just as beautiful and oozes character, with many pieces of furniture beautifully handcrafted by Robin - a master craftsman. The facilties are excellent, with everything we needed for a 2 week stay. Herefordshire is a stunning county to explore and the location is well situated to enable you to visit so many beautiful places. We loved every minute of our stay and would love to return. Our hosts were incredibly kind, welcoming and knowledgeable. We offer them our thanks.

  • "The cottage was lovely, charming, full of character."

Our only issue was no access to Tv channels as there was no aerial. The hosts, Helen and Robin were helpful and friendly, Helen provided me with details of local walks and lent me her walking sticks. We found a lot to explore in the area, and enjoyed the peace and quiet of the rural location.

Oh dear! I am sorry as this was so easily resolved and we were here to ask if there were any difficulties. For everyone's future reference the Valley View Information manual left on the kitchen table has very clear instructions on how to watch BBC and ITV LIVE through BBC IPlayer and ITV Hub. Its a Smart TV with excellent fibre internet so no need for an aerial. I had tested the TV LIVE instructions out on my husband, who would freely admit he is not remote control savvy, and he could follow them easily! Please do ask if there are any issues either by seeing us or giving a call, our landline and mobile numbers are at the front of the Valley View Information folder Property Owner
