  • "A very beautiful house."

It was so comfortable. Marian and Willie are so friendly and helpful and such a pleasure to meet. The house is equipped with everything you need. A very small and peaceful beach is only 5 minutes drive or approximately 30 min walk. A 5 minute drive to the nearest town of Louisburgh has plenty of coffee shops and a convenience store and there is also a few places to have dinner in the evening. My family and I have a fantastic time and are looking forward to visiting again.

Hi Aileen and all the Family Thank you for your beautiful comment we hope you had an enjoyable week in our holiday cottage. While the weather was not the best I hope you found lots to do and see. We look forward to seeing you and all your family back for a return holiday to the cottage. All the best Marian and Willie. Property Owner

  • "Lovely well equipped and very clean, warm cottage with good sized rooms."

The hosts, Willie and Marian, made us very welcome with a fire blazing in the hearth and tea, coffee, milk, cake and biscuits at the ready. The reclining chairs and sofa were the most comfortable we've ever come across in a holiday cottage. Great location for exploring the nearby hills, islands and coast. We will definitely be returning!

Just cannot understand why they don't install broadband! This must surely put off customers with children?

  • "An absolutely beautiful little dwelling situated just off the coast road on the way to Louisburgh."

We were greeted on our first day by the hosts Willie and Marian. Fresh flowers on the table with an open fire blazing was an unexpected little personal touch. The house was spotlessly clean and fully equipped as stated. 4 mins from the beach, 3 km from the little village of Louisburgh, this cottage is ideal for all. We brought our mountain bikes and were quick to find routes off the beaten track. A little gem of a place nestled at the foot of Croagh Patrick and surrounding hills. Very peaceful!

Thank you for your beautiful comment and lovely gift so thoughtful of you. Delighted you all enjoyed your stay in our little cottage and please god we hope to see you back for another lovely holiday. Love and best wishes Marian and Willie. Property Owner

The cottage was beyond clean and very like a home from home. We had a turf fire most evenings and the setting of the cottage provided lovely walks and easy access to old head beach even. We would happily visit there again

Excellent location near coast, Clare Island and Mountains, especially Croagh Patrick. Only lack was Wi-fi, but we managed well enough without it for a week. Mr and Mrs Moran were very friendly and helpful.
