  • "This is a fabulous apartment, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it."

Very clean, comfortable and stylish. The location is excellent and the sea view from the garden is beautiful. We wouldn’t hesitate to come back if we were in the area.

It’s a beautiful space with a clam and luxurious vibe with stunning views of the sea. Our hosts coudnt have been more welcoming. Perfect for our family holiday and we hope to return again.

  • "This is the 2nd time I have stayed at the property and am still very impressed by its luxury, cleanliness and comfort."

The property is well equipped and in a perfect location, very quiet and within easy walking distance of the town centre and seafront. My only criticism is you cannot use both showers at the same time as using the shower in the main bathroom affects the pressure in the smaller shower room. Not cheap but well worth it. I will definitely stay here again and highly recommended it.

  • "Beautiful property, so well presented and so spacious."

It had everything we needed and more. Great location - unfortunately the cliff top was closed for the duration of our stay due to police cordon, but we could still get down to the beach easily enough with our disabled son taking the back road and joining the cliff top later. And we enjoyed the beautiful conservatory and garden.

  • "Lovely property with good furnishings and plenty of space."

Very well located and easy walk to the beach and town centre. Parking is horrible however and difficult to get into and out off when other cars are parked in their bays. We had one day where we were totally blocked in by two van's, fortunately we did not need to drive anywhere.

Firstly thank you for saying the property was lovely , regarding the problems you experienced with the parking I have since discovered that the block next door were having their kitchens refurbished during the time of your stay which meant a lot of vans parked badly. This was unfortunate as it is definitely not the norm. Property Owner

  • "Absolutely stunning Christmas break, the property is perfectly located and you couldn’t be any closer to the beach."

The decor of the property is high end and has everything you need for your stay, it gave us a great location for base camp exploring the Christmas markets, local restaurants, and the wider Jurassic coast line. Everything from arrival to departure was just perfect! We are already missing our new found squirrel friends, who would join us on the decking each morning for breakfast while admiring the sea view. The place made for a lovely Christmas ‘23 with the kitchen having everything needed for us to make the big day Christmas dinner too! A real hidden gem of a property, offering luxury and rest for any break.

  • "Such a well located property, spacious and thoughtfully furnished for our group of 5 adults and 2 small children."

The highchair was good quality and robust for a lively 18 mth old! The whole apartment exuded comfort and the garden was a bonus! We could swap the aggravation of car travel to walk down the zig zag path to the promenade with direct access to beautiful sandy beaches, and into Bournemouth town. After our week's stay, we returned refreshed - a much needed holiday and greatly appreciated this location! Thank you.

We are so used to it and dislike everything into one bin. Top shower room extractor isolator switch off… is this on purpose? We opened window when showering incase Main bathroom temperature gauge is very difficult to turn down temperature . Could a shower seat be added to your supply’s in the store room for elderly guests? Key box outside very difficult to open, just needs lubricated Overall a wonderful haven near the beach, cliff lift, shops and restaurants Thank you!

The weather prevented us from enjoying the garden however it was lovely instead to sit in the conservatory and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere. We really enjoyed our stay. Highly recommended.

Location, parking, garden, space, cleanliness was beyond our expectations. A memorable and quality visit made better by a stress free high standard accommodation.

  • "A tastefully decorated and delightfully fragrant apartment with plenty of room to spread out and relax in style."

The three televisions, two huge dining tables and spacious settees made for very comfortable living, as did the lovely bright and airy garden room at the front. Situated right on the coastal path, there is no time wasted getting to the beach. Bournemouth is an easy stroll in one direction and there are miles of sandy beaches in the other, giving access to several wooded chines along the way. It didn’t matter that the weather was cold and wet because we were never that far away from our lovely warm home. A holiday to remember, for all the right reasons! Jane and Roger. January 2023.

  • "Hoppapill House is a very impressive apartment with large light rooms, a lovely conservatory and plenty of space for luggage and beach equipment."

The location is excellent with a path down to the beach and there is also easy access to the centre of Bournemouth. The instructions to gain entry were fine and the parking was also good (for one car). Overall we would certainly recommend this to anyone. A couple of minor niggles, the rubbish bin in the kitchen was still full of rubbish, the lock on the garden gate didn't work (you could get out but not back in), there were some pink marks on one of the duvet covers and the duvet itself in the main bedroom could do with replacing. However none of these affected our stay in any way.

Dear Alan I am very pleased you enjoyed your stay at Hoppapill House and were very impressed by the property. With regard to your minor niggles I can only apologise that the cleaners missed those points and we will certainly replace the duvet. My mistake the back gate had just been fitted and I forgot to leave the the key code. Guest reviews help us to continue improving the property ,many thanks for taking the time. Property Owner

We brought our own light beach towels as the house towels too good to use, Use of wash machine a bonus, bring a few of your own wash pods The complementary tea, coffee, milk, sparkling wine, cleaning products appreciated, The conservatory extension well done and we used the room for breakfast and evening meals in, An expensive apartment but the size convenience and parking makes it worth it!

  • "The property was lovely and the welcome pack was much appreciated (apart from the UHT milk (yuk))."

Just a point about accessibility - the internal steps are highlighted in the property details, but not the 3 steep steps leading from the car park to the door. As a property on one level, it would appeal to people with mobility problems, but those steps would come as a nasty surprise. I would also like to suggest non-slip mats for each of the showers - they both had very shiny, slippery-when-wet bases. If I was being picky (which at the price this cost, I feel able), it would have been nice to have had salt & pepper (who remembers to bring those on holiday with them?), an oven glove and a spare loo roll in each bathroom.

We are pleased you thought the property was lovely and much appreciate your constructive comments as its the only way to improve our offering . We have addressed the valid points about the steps and and shower mats . The missing oven glove must have been an oversight by the cleaner , it hopefully will not happen again. We are glad you enjoyed the complimentary welcome pack , unfortunately we are unable to leave fresh milk as it may go off between guests. Property Owner
