  • "We had a wonderful week at Cart Barn, despite some wet weather it did not dampen our stay."

Warm welcome by the owner on arrival. The property is an extremly comfortable, clean and modern with everthing we needed provided. The welcome pack was lovely touch the homemade jam was delicious as was the bottle of wine and biscuits. We stayed in the property next door last year and would recommend either property. Will return in the future.

  • "Lovely barn conversion, well-equipped to an high standard and very comfortable."

Perfect location for walks around the area and lots to see and do in the vicinity. We were unlucky in that the pub was closed during our stay but can imagine that when open, it makes this location an even better place to stay.

  • "We had such a lovely 3 days staying at The Cart Barn."

Martin met us and showed us round and gave us any information we required. Lovely touch with the wine, biscuits and jam - thank you! We thoroughly enjoyed our meal at the pub across the road, visited the local community shop within the church. There is a cafe above it too! We walked to Croft Castle NT and drove to Berrington Hall NT and Hampton Court Castle and Gardens. All very close. The Cart Barn is a lovely place to stay in. Facilities very good and they have provided lots of leaflets about walks and the local area.

  • "A warm welcome from the owner."

The cart barn has a nice modern interior, with good amenities. Outside sympathetic with other buildings. The village has a community shop in the church, and a very nice pub. Our only negative is the state of the roads, so many potholes, and extremely narrow lanes.

  • "This property is exelent very clean and comfortable, the little village is deep in the countryside with a historic church."

The country lanes are very narrow making it interesting to drive around. Lots of National trust properties around, so a good base for a holiday.

Everything you could need, with some lovely quirky personal touches. Great pub across the road, nice village shop in the church! 10 minutes into Leominster for some excellent antique shopping. Martin & Barbara have done an excellent job to make you feel at home. If you can't manage stairs? Try the 'Milking Parlour' adjoining he C.B. Nice choice of red wine as well. ta

We were greeted by the owner Martin who kindly showed us around and pointed out all the information required. As it has only been open since June 2022, it is wonderfully new and comfortable.

  • "This was a well-managed and very comfortable property."

The internal accommodation and fittings/equipment were first-rate. While it was nice to have an external small table and chairs for sitting out it would have been better if they had been facing a garden. A warm welcome from the hosts. Plenty to see and do in the surrounding countryside and historic towns.
