  • "The property is spacious and comfortable, nice garden."

The narrow roads and rutted farm track leading to the property were not so comfortable. We hoped that being on a working farm there would be walks from the back door, but the only places to walk were public footpaths some distance away via the narrow roads.

Dear Stephen. Thank your for your feedback and I am happy you found our property comfortable and spacious. We are also delighted that you enjoyed the private garden area. We always do our best to make sure our guests have the best holiday. I am sorry that you could not find the local walks around around the area. There are a number of beautiful walks within a very close proximity to the barn. The local walks information was in the guest handbook in the kitchen ready for our guests to read, so they have a great outdoor experience. We did not manage to speak to each other during your stay, otherwise we would have been more than happy to advise you about the local walks. Regarding the lane, as you would have noticed, our ten acre organic hay meadow was being bailed at the time of your stay and so tractors that were using the lane, along with the very wet weather, had caused a few potholes. These have now been fully repaired. Thanks again for your stay with us and all the very best for the future. Property Owner

  • "This beautiful cottage is nestled just on the outskirts of Abergele."

On arrival we were amazed by the size of the property which was spotlessly clean. Beds were very comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed. The host had even provided a welcome pack with tea, coffee and milk as a starter pack. We took full advantage of the wood fired hot tub, which was situated in the rear garden area. Our 11 month old granddaughter loved the space she had to freely crawl about in. Within a few minutes drive you had easy access to Abergele, which is a small village with a number of local shops, pubs, cafes plus a large Tesco with everything you could need during your stay. The cottage is within a short drive to the Welsh Mountain Zoo, Conwy, Llandudno, Colwyn Bay and Rhyl. We can certainly recommend the Zoo if you have children, and Llandudno had something for everyone. We stayed for 4 nights, had lovely weather and fully enjoyed our stay. Would definitely recommend this homely cottage when staying in North Wales.

Dear Elizabeth and Family. Thank you so much for being such delightful guests and providing such wonderful feedback. We are so happy that you enjoyed your stay with us and made full use of the hot tub and garden. It’s also great to hear that you made the most of the beautiful North Wales coast and it sounds like you had some enjoyable trips. It’s lovely to hear that your 11 month old granddaughter had a large and safe place to explore and enjoy. Thanks once again for being such great guests. We wish you and your family all the very best for the future and hope to welcome you back here one day. Very Best Wishes. Paul and Emily Property Owner

The cottage was stunning. 100% Perfection in every room. Beautiful well equipped kitchen and utility area. All of the bedrooms were beautiful decorated and had a gorgeous smell. Bed was super comfy. Each room had looks of extra touches and made it feel very homely. The outside space was so peaceful the garden was great to sit out with a cup of tea in the morning & evenings. Location for us was perfect

Dear Maria and Family. Thank you so much for such a wonderful review. We are delighted that you enjoyed your stay so much and that you appreciate the effort we have made to make the barn a really comfortable and welcoming place to stay. We are really pleased that you enjoyed the peace and privacy of the garden and you are right, it is a lovely spot for a morning cup of tea. We wish you all the very best for the future and hope to see you back again one day. Property Owner

  • "Just spent a fabulous wk with the family at Nant Coed Barn and can honestly say that it is the best holiday in the UK."

that we have ever had. Due in no small part to the barn itself. It was pretty clear as soon as we stepped into the property that the level of care and attention lavished onto it by the owners was second to none. The level of detail that the owners have gone into far surpasses that of a 4 star hotel. In comparing the barn to hotels and stars I would put this firmly in the 5 star category. The whole barn is furnished to the highest standards from lovely thick carpets to Neff appliances in the kitchen…a truly superb place to spend time with family and friends. The location of the barn, 5-10 minutes by car from Abergele high street , make it the ideal spot for visiting the whole of the north west coastline (which we did) but also provides an excellent retreat away from the crowds when needed at the end of the day. We particularly loved the back garden which was a truly amazing spot for the whole family to relax in. The addition of the hot tub was a much loved feature between children and grandparents alike when enjoying the view of the rolling countryside.

Dear Sean and Family. Thank you so much for such a fantastic review. We are absolutely delighted that you enjoyed your stay in our barn so much and made full use of the hot tub, whilst enjoying the peace and tranquillity. You were a joy to host and we wish you and your family all the very best for the future. We hope to welcome you back here again one day Property Owner
