  • "The Lodge is very inviting & spotlessly clean."

With quality furnishings & added touches , e.g luxury shower/bath gels, sumptuous bath towels and a lovely surprise Hamper for us to enjoy ! The location is ideal for exploring the border villages/towns & only 1hr drive to visit Edinburgh. We had a meal at the on-site tavern which was very good & the staff were friendly & efficient. We had an excellent break & would definitely love to return.

Thank you Karen for your kind review, delighted you had a good weekend and look forward to welcoming you back. Shona Property Owner

! The only thing was how high up hill the lodge was wondered why lots of golf buggies at each lodge would definitely hire one if longer than a couple Of days!!!

There was a generous welcome hamper and many little extras to make us feel at home. The lodge is in a quiet setting with views of the surrounding countryside and the Scottish borders area has many places of interest to visit. We would be happy to return.

  • "The property was lovely."

It was extremely well equipped. A lovely place to stay. I have a few suggestions. Couldn't use the coffee maker since no instructions. Instructions for everything a good idea then nothing can get wrongly used. I am only 5ft 2 so could not reach the high shelves or properly put anything in the microwave. Good job my husband is taller. I have a problem with one knee, the last step to the property was very difficult since it was much higher than all the others. These are not criticisms just how I found the property. Would recommend it to anyone wanting a holiday in the area.

Hello Elaine, Thank you for your kind review and the suggestions. Unfortunately the microwave is integrated in kitchen units therefore cannot be moved. Instructions for kitchen appliances are in a drawer but i shall make that clear for future guests. I'm pleased that you enjoyed your stay in Serena and the Scottish Borders. Shona. Property Owner

  • "We had a very relaxing week at Serena Lodge."

The lodge is cozy and comfortable with all you need for a relaxing break away. Serena lodge is well kitted out and has everything you need. The only negative point I would say was there could have been more crockery left. There was only 2 of us and we managed. It would be tricky if you needed to store leftovers or if there were 4 of you, there would be no spares. The park was very quiet when we visited so it was really peaceful. The welcome hamper was a very nice touch.

Hello Emma, Thank you for your kind review. I have now added extra crockery and storage containers for future guests. Shona Property Owner
