  • "The property was spacious, light and clean."

Actually looks nicer than the pictures suggest. Just a few nit picks: pillows were awful and no welcome pack of milk, butter, jam, tea, bread, which you normally get in a holiday cottage. The few bits which were left were what you would expect in a hotel bedroom. Finally worth installing some electric car charges, the local BP garage ones were inaccessible, despite a lot of effort on my part to set up an account.

  • "I’ve stayed here twice now, the first time the cottage was lovely and clean."

This time around not so much. The showers look really grubby, covered in limescale and water marks. Also found multiple dog hairs in the bed & had some strange stains. I would also like to note that in the bathroom and the kitchen almond hand soap had been provided, my partner has a severe tree nut allergy so we had to purchase our own. I do really like these cottages, I love the location so I’m hoping the cleanliness issue was just a one off and the cleaners missed some areas.

  • "We loved our stay- it was perfect."

The key lock needs to be changed as it was very stiff.

  • "Thank you. New clean cottages."

Excellent basic amenities. Dishwasher was a bit temperamental. Very helpful and pleasant hosts. Good focal point to explore the local sights. Visitors need to be aware that there are no walking paths directly from the property as it opens into narrow windy main road with no footpaths. Post code leads to a place about 200 yards from the cottages. Be prepared for horses neighing first thing in the morning, as the property is in the midst of stables. It was not a problem for us, though. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
