About the location

ALVECHURCH

Redditch 4 miles; Birmingham 11.5 miles; Worcester 22.5 miles

Alvechurch is a lovely, large village resting in the Bromsgrove district in Worcestershire. Sitting 11 miles south of Birmingham, 5 miles north of Redditch and 6 miles east of Bromsgrove, this village is known for having a number of Medieval, Edwardian and Victorian buildings as well as many newer residential buildings after the old school was demolished which bought about a new estate with road names paying homage to the former school houses. There are wealth of attractions in the village with the Village Green and Wiggin Memorial Playing Field for kids with dining options including The Weighbridge Inn for local pub grub and The Tudor Rose Fish Bar for some classic takeout fish and chips. You can stock up on essentials at the local Co-op Food store before seeing sights further out in Birmingham which offers a host of activities such as Cadbury World, Cannon Hill Park and the National SEA LIFE Centre.
