"Loved the property, good size, especially bedroom and perfect location for beach and station."
The bed was the most comfortable we have ever had on holiday, which is saying something as both have bad backs! Only issue was the mezzanine twin bedroom got incredibly hot so would be useful to have a fan to use up there( fortunately took ours but had to lend to my sister the week she stayed!) The turquoise bench outside the porch was sadly rotting wood in several places so collapsed a bit when I tried to sit on it and really should have been removed as could have had a nasty accident- reported it to Carbis Bay holidays. But needs to be removed from photos as definitely made it look a nice area to sit on for a drink or cuppa! A few listed items were missing when we arrived ( again reported) Bose sound system in lounge, hairdryer and small freestanding mirror in main bedroom but the rep did drop by with a new hairdryer. Bit annoying that we had to go and buy oven gloves as well, as burnt ourselves on the hot oven- surely they should be a standard? We were advised to bring tea towels but not oven gloves.

"When we first entered couldn’t find the instruction manual which was well hidden."
The staff at Carbis bay holidays were very helpful and we eventually found it. Parking space is a bit far from the actual apartment. Other than that, location is amazing, the beach beautiful. Found the little touches very welcoming, milk in the fridge, tea and coffee available, things like bin bags and freezer blocks already there. Would definitely return.

It had everything we needed and more. It was comfortable, clean and spacious. The beds were comfy, the kids loved the little space upstairs for their room, (many hide and seek spaces) Would definitely recommend this property. Thank you for allowing us to use your home.

Have stayed many times in Compass Point before but chose Brinyloft as was £500 cheaper - expected it to be a lesser property because of that but was so happy with it, cozy, clean and perfect for a family of 3 / 4. Parking space was a dream after staying in others that don’t have one that fit my car. Perfect base for beach holiday. Would happily stay again

Please replace rubber seal on shower screen? Can’t do anything about window sill flooding. Carpets and sofas need a deep clean: murky and stained.

. if you don't get the water right water goes everywhere which is probably why the bathroom is a little damp. However this is the only thing I would say bad about this property everything else is perfect and I would stay again.

Suggestions: A sheet of contact numbers and possible device operating instructions might be useful (if one is already there we didn't come across it). Stylish low hanging lampshades, but head impacts inevitable. Many Thanks

"Brinyloft is a perfect holiday home."
It was clean and tidy and bright and airy. The kitchen was well equipped, the bedrooms had plenty of storage space, and the living area was very comfortable. Easy to follow instructions re recycling, use of appliances etc were left by the owner. It's a short walk to the amazing Carbis Bay beach, there's a lovely walk in to St Ives or catch the train in (£1 a person or discounted when booked online) and Tesco is within walking distance too. All in all we had a perfect holiday and will definitely return to this property in the future.

Spacious bedroom and well equipped kitchen. Shower temperature is slightly tricky to moderate but that is often a problem with off-tap over bath showers. All in all a great base.

Just a short drive from iconic St Ives, the seaside village of Carbis Bay is best-known for its beautiful stretch of pure white sand. With turquoise waters and sheltered conditions, the beach feels almost subtropical and is the perfect spot for a good old-fashioned day by the sea. The beach is also home to the Ocean Sports Centre, so if sunbathing is not really your thing, why not hire a kayak or SUP and get out on the water instead. Or why not treat yourself to a Spa day at the delightful hotel which overlooks the beach and has a fabulous terrace where cocktails can be enjoyed in the Cornish sunshine? Carbis Bay has a small range of local shops and restaurants as well as a fish & chip takeaway and railway branch line.
