Or follow the Coastal path in the other direction and you will find a short and incredibly lovely walk with fields on one side and sea views on the other leading into the picturesque village of Charlestown giving a glimpse into its seafaring heritage.
History enthusiasts can delve into the Shipwreck Treasure Museum to learn about the area's maritime past.

A delightful and much sought-after coastal village of stone cottages and Regency houses, on the south coast near St. Austell. Famous for its collection of tall ships riding at anchor in the harbour, the shipwreck museum, excellent pubs and restaurants and easy access to the coastal path, Charlestown is the perfect holiday destination.
