It was so quiet and peaceful. Hardly heard our neighbours even though they were close. Lovely private patio area. Our only issue was the shower pressure, which could be solved with a pump, but it was enough to have a shower, just took longer.

  • "The cottage was perfectly equipped for what we needed for the week!"

All of the basic amenities were there and we didn’t once go ‘oh they don’t have ….’! They have everything you’d need for the week. Understandably during covid there is a few restrictions on soft furnishings etc but that didn’t change the overall outlook of the experience by having to bring our own towels or tea towels. The owners are very helpful and such lovely people, they were there if you needed them (by phone!). The data connection around that area too is perfect for us as young adults, ran on 4G perfectly. The cottage is isolated from the main road, only a little side road that is only used by the owners and the cottages, and not once did we even hear our neighbours! The shower is okay for what you need it for, the pressure isn’t always the best but there’s running water that you can wash yourself with easily so no problems there for us! Overall we had such a lovely stay, the weather was on our side too and we would definitely look to book again in the future :)

  • "The cottage is in a splendid spot high above the Conwy Valley, with views of the Snowdonia mountain range."

It is one of three with a shared front garden area and private sitting out area just in front. Parking is adequate for several cars. Despite mentioning no children and pets in the blurb other guests had brought a spaniel which barked at me on arrival, otherwise it was very well behaved. The birdsong is marvellous just now in early May, with cuckoos calling. Because of the corona virus restrictions I saw little of the owner(s) whose house is down the yard at the back. However Mr Bradley did make an appearance to ensure I remembered it was a 9am exit on my last day. This suggested they were more anxious for me to depart than to arrive. Local farmers seemed friendly and courteous (this is very much sheep farming country). Overall a good staycation.

  • "We had a really lovely time at the cottage."

It was in a quiet and secluded area with beautiful surroundings which made for a great getaway. However, a few points to highlight. I understand the pandemic situation and realise that standards need to be adhered to but the amount of money was a lot for the check in and check out times that were a bit extreme. The shower really needs sorting out. The pressure is really low but then once it gets hot, the temperature gauge determines if the shower is on or not. So its either a scalding hot dribble or off. There needs to be lights between the parking area and the accommodation. We got back in the dark after being out for the day so It was pitch black between the car and the front door and if you have your hands full, it's not easy going! But we really did have a great time and would recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet getaway.

  • "We had a wonderful week in this cosy and incredibly clean cottage."

There are so many lovely places to visit nearby. The only criticism was the shower which was just a trickle of water which was not so good when you have just got back from climbing snowdon! However because everything else was so lovely we would still stay here again. Very helpful owners, beautiful location.

Our cottage was one of 3 forming part of a converted barn next to the farm. It was compact but just about had everything we needed. Inside you have an oven, microwave sink etc to cater for your own cooking. There’s a comfy sofa and tv for relaxing in the evening, oh and a bbq that we didn’t use due to the time of year. Upstairs you have a bedroom which has a bed (so comfy) and toilet and shower, my only negative would be it hasn’t a bath but that won’t stop us returning. The cottage is so quiet and peaceful and clean. Well located for snowdonia etc.

My experience was extremely positive. Our hosts were very welcoming and friendly. Upon our arrival they gave extensive information about the cottage, which was extremely well equipped and scrupulously clean. We were impressed by the knowledge and detail about the local area and beyond given, and the array of printed information available to plan activities.
