• "Loved staying here in Amelie Cottage."

  Been staying in Anglesey since I was 3 years old, in weeks off my 70th birthday. Well equipped and homely cottage. Comfy bed. It was just me and pebbles my dalmation as my friends unfortunately could not make it. However, the local people/pubs and restaurants have accepted us like locals and made our week memorable in every way. Beaches so beautiful any season and we are both a lot fitter than when we arrived! Me and Pebbles will definitely be back. The week has just flown by. Thank you.

It was just me and Pebbles my Dalmatian as my friends could not unfortunately make it, however he local people, pubs and restaurants have accepted us as locals and made our week memorable in every way.   It was a lovely refuge. I came from Menai Bridge & know Beaumaris very well, Perfect location for us. I am back home every fortnight at the moment and staying in cottages every time and this is one of the nicest we have had. Thank you for all the necessary supplies, very grateful. I am sure we will be back over the next few months.

• "We had a wonderful holiday."

  The cottage is lovely, so comfortable and clean with everything you could need, only a few minutes walk to the centre of Beaumaris, which is the perfect place to stay. We explored the island and all the beautiful beaches, ending the days in the lovely garden with a glass of wine! The garden is enclosed, so perfectly safe for our little dog to explore. We have already booked for next year!

  Cottage is lovely, so comfortable. Beaumaris is the perfect place to stay. We explored the island and all the beautiful beaches, ending the day in the lovely garden with a glass of wine. The garden is enclosed so perfect for our little dog to explore. Cant wait to return

Only downside to this holiday (and nothing to do with cottage or area) is that our two beautiful boys (doggies) both passed before this holiday. They would have loved it.   A bright red squirrel just walked across the slate yard! I think I am going to be stood at this kitchen sink, camera in hand, for the rest of the week!! I've seen them near Henlly hall years ago but didn't think I'd see them in the garden!

• "Absolutely lovely cottage, so well equipped, even equipped for dogs ( lovely touch ) clean and fresh and the fresh milk in the fridge was a lovely touch."

  The extra secure and private garden was an absolute godsend with us having our dog Ria with us, she loved the garden as did we. So close to all the amenities, would definitely recommend and book again.

• "An Adorable Cottage."

  We've all enjoyed our stay. Clean, comfortable, so well equipped, like a home from home. The garden is an absolute asset to our dog, Ria loved it, a lovely suntrap. Will definitely book to stay again. Will recommend to my friend and family.

• "Absolutely beautiful Cottage: well looked after and in a super position in the village."

  The garden and yard area were private & spacious. Quality towels & bedding- Lots of complimentary items available- Tea/coffee/ sugar/ salt/ pepper/ oil as well as shampoo & shower gel. Etc. Plus lots of useful & practical items making it home from home even bits to make the dogs stay welcome. Car parking was on the road and most of the time we were parked just down the road from the cottage as double yellows out side, on a few occasions we were on the next road, but didn’t take long to work out where the free parking was. So many beautiful beaches and walks close by and pretty villages . We never needed to go far . We tried Harry’s Bistro, Dylan’s & Victoria and were all excellent ( in different ways) the views at the last 2 are spectacular . A fabulous bakery ( down a little side street) and the friendly butcher in the deli ( great steaks) We had a super stay, helped by the fabulous weather. Note- not mentioned in the advert but No barbecuing. ( so don’t take your own

  Very clean, lots of extra's and decent supply (both quality and amount) of equipment - we wanted for nothing. Our only suggestion would have been to advertise no BBQ's as we would have loved to enjoy the garden more in the evening rather than cooking indoors. However, we have still had a super time and hope to visit again soon. P.s - loved the extra's for the dogs too!

Just a couple of suggestions - a blind behind the front door would make it a little more private and pillow protectors on the beds would give a bit of peace of mind but everything was lovely and clean so these are minors. We look forward to returning, thank you. (Only very minor negative: the freezer door needs to be repaired, usable but difficult to open and close).

• "We had a wonderful stay at Amelie Cottage, it had everything we needed and such a great location!"

  Lovely comfy sofas to relax on after a day exploring the beaches of Anglesey with our dog. We had a slight issue with one of the appliances and Matt was straight round and went above and beyond to remedy it. Lovely and quiet cottage despite being so centrally located. We will definitely be back to stay next time we are heading to Beaumaris to see family. Only thing I would note is that the grassed garden is through another gate so not attached to the cottage itself, but it’s a gorgeous garden and perfect for stargazing with a hot chocolate! There is no phone signal in town but the cottage has really good WiFi so it was lovely to escape from the phone for a week! We would have loved to stay an extra week! We have already recommended the cottage to our family and friends who wish to visit Anglesey!

  This is a lovely cottage to enjoy both from as a Base. Very well equipped with everything you could need, very clean and a brilliant central location. We would recommend and return to stay here again ourselves. Our boys (11 and 6) say its the best cottage in Beaumaris we have stayed in!   Amelie Cottage, you have done us proud yet again. You are a home from home and a place we can hugely relax. Beaumaris, Menai Bridge and Snowdonia have offered us warm hospitality this week. All pubs sampled successfully! We particularly enjoyed the ones with open fires/ log burners i.e Bull, George, Castle and Liverpool Arms! Great walk this year up and around Tal Y Fan parking at sychnant pass. Wonderful views from the top to the sea and then across the Conwy Valley. The fairy Glen made us very welcome afterwards!
