  • "Our stay at farmyard house was lovely!"

The open plan lounge/kitchen/diner upstairs was perfect for the family to be together. The hot tub is very nice and the other facilities such as gym were great! It was nice and quiet on site despite there being a number of other houses. We would definitely stay again! Thank you

  • "Lovely stay in Farmyard House."

Felt like we were the first to stay in it due to the high standard of cleanliness and comfort. It is definitely 5 stars from us.. location was great as we prefer the north and western coastal areas and coastal paths walks. Tip, the entrance gate is the second gate on the left down the hill.. however a very prompt response sorted this minor issue. Hopefully we will return in the winter.

  • "What a lovely gem to find it Anglesey."

The Farmyard House was a extremely spotless quiet, homely, place to stay. All open plan area and very spacious. All i can say its a credit to the owners. Set in a private entrance with a hot tub and gym and even a place to dry or store sports equipment if required. 25 min walk to Cameas Bay beach Top marks all round. A+++++ Highly recommended

Beautiful place; well detailed and maintained. Made good use of the hot-tub (checked daily by the owners). Instructions for use of all the modern appliances within the property. Great location for getting out and about to local areas of interest and natural beauty. Will definitely return for another stay.

About the location

LLANFECHELL

Cemaes Bay 1.5 miles; Holyhead 15 miles.

Llanfechell is a small village situated one and a half miles from Cemaes Bay, on the northern tip of Anglesey in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The village gets its name from the nearby 12th century Mechell Church, which has been extended over the years and where it is believed that St Mechell is buried. The ancient Parys mountain copper mines are seven miles away, with their lunar-like landscape and the area is popular with geologists and archaeologists due to the rock formations at Mechell Mountain and the several ancient monuments scattered around, reputed to be some of the oldest in the world. Llanfechell is home to a village pub, which serves traditional ale with a warm welcome. Nearby, the pretty seaside village of Cemaes Bay is home to three pubs, a few shops, a natural sheltered harbour and a sandy beach, edged by grassy cliffs and ideal for safe bathing and family fun. The whole of the Isle of Anglesey is renowned for its miles of stunning and varied coastline, offering wonderful walking and cycling opportunities, along with birdwatching, excellent watersports, fishing and many quality golf courses. Anglesey Sea Zoo and a variety of National Trust properties and gardens are all within reach on this beautiful island, while a day trip to Dublin can be enjoyed from nearby Holyhead.
