  • "Cherry Trees is clean, comfortable and warm."

It seemed very well equipped - even a picnic basket and, because it's Scotland, umbrellas! I think it would be a fabulous cottage for children: loads of games and dvds are provided and woods to play in at the back. But it is not suitable for dogs. There is nothing to stop a dog getting on to the very busy - and noisy - A83 which runs just below the cottage.

  • "Beautiful little find."

In all my years of coming to Furnace i never knew this existed.Gorgeous spot and great size and full of facilities. My only gripe is i feel there is too many cushions which i feel cannot be cleaned in such a short turnaround of guests.I loved there was alot of personal touches but i feel it was quite cluttered especially with kitchen utensils etc. There was also quite alot left over teas and food in freezer which i think should of been removed before our arrival.

We couldn’t fault it at all. The owners had really put a lot of thought into the presentation of the cottage and everything we could need was catered for.

The communication from the owners was also brilliant when needed, they were on hand to offer support and were very friendly. The property is a real credit to the owners hard work and we hope to be able to stay again.
