Less than ten miles away are the breathtaking beaches of North Devon, which provide sailing, fishing, and sandy beaches at Instow, Saunton Sands, Croyde Bay, Putsborough, and Woolacombe, as well as high cliffs and headlands along Hartland's rocky edges. Outdoor enthusiasts will be drawn to the long-distance Tarka Trail, perfect for traffic-free walking and cycling, whilst the RHS gardens at Rosemoor are less than two miles away.
