  • "Our week-long retreat at Pol Glas Cabin was nothing short of enchanting, offering a serene escape into nature's embrace."

From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the stunning views that greeted us, painting a picturesque backdrop for our stay. The cabin itself was immaculately cleaned, setting the stage for a truly rejuvenating experience. The highlight of our welcome was undoubtedly the thoughtful pack awaiting us, complete with freshly baked scones, milk, tea, and even Buck's Fizz—a delightful touch that immediately made us feel at home. However, it's important to note that we found ourselves quite overlooked from the neighboring property, a detail not evident from the photos. While this didn't detract significantly from our experience, it did affect our sense of privacy at times. Additionally, while the enclosed garden provided a sense of security, we noticed that a large dog could possibly escape. Adding another foot of fencing could enhance the enclosure, especially considering the proximity to the neighboring property. One of the highlights of our stay was the hot tub, which provided a blissful retreat after a day of exploring the surrounding countryside. Relaxing in the warm waters, surrounded by the sights and sounds of nature, was an experience we'll cherish for years to come. Despite these minor considerations, our time at Pol Glas Cabin was truly unforgettable. With its stunning views, impeccable cleanliness, and thoughtful amenities, it's a sanctuary we wholeheartedly recommend to anyone seeking a tranquil escape into the beauty of the countryside.

  • "Lovely, quiet location with nice views across open countryside and from the right place a sea view too."

Comfortable bed and good en suite shower room. Quality kitchen appliances and equipment. Disappointed that the hot tub wasn’t working correctly and that there were bugs and a snail in it. We didn’t use it for that reason. Would have liked to have known before we arrived. Would have felt overlooked if there were guests next door. All in all we had a good week away though

.. a lovely place to stay for our week exploring Cornwall. Waking up to the lovely scenery of the rolling hills in the background and watching the cows every morn whilst having breakfast on the patio... was in a lovely peaceful setting. The property was well maintained & had everything we needed for our break. Free WIFI was a bonus & smart TV too... very up to date! Lovely hot tub too just what was needed after our days out... couldn't fault the property. Great refreshment pack to of tea, coffee, sugar, scones & milk just perfect after a long 6hr drive... the owners have realy thought of everything... highly recommend Pol Glas Cabin All the best Emma & John

  • "Lovely cabin within a lovely complex."

The views were stunning, including the view from the hot tub which was emptied and refilled prior to our arrival. The welcome treats and equipment provided were fantastic and the cleanliness of the cabin was excellent. We found it a little small for two adults and an infant, with the sofa being an inadequate sitting spot for two adults! We’d definitely recommend repositioning the lounge area to accommodate a larger seating area. The floor was not appropriate for our infant who couldn’t be left, so perhaps something to note on the listing so others can bring necessary cushioning for the floor. Overall, a lovely stay!

The cabin was lovely, but we had a problem with the fridge, which the owners were made aware of where the door shelf had been broken by previous occupant

Thank you for your feedback and happy we managed to sort the fridge shelf out for you. Property Owner

  • "Lovely cabin with amazing views."

The hot tub is great & easy to use. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend the cabin to family and friends. The only thing we noted were that towels for the hot tub could be provided & a full length mirror but everything else was perfect.

  • "Lovely cabin in a great location!"

Perfect for a few nights away! Very very minor point but it would have been nice to have an extra set of towels for use with the hot tub. Would highly recommend to others :)

  • "Our honeymoon at the cabin was amazing, everything we needed was there and everything was easy to use."

We had a fully stocked kitchen, hairdryer, iron and ironing board, clothes airer and more. The view was incredible and it was lovely to sit out every morning with a cup of tea. The hot tub was lovely and easy to use. It was very easy to find and was set in a quiet area! The only one issue we had was that all the outside bins were full when we checked in. We will be recommending the cabin to everyone we know!

  • "Had a very enjoyable stay and the following are suggestions that will ensure that future visitors have an even better stay: - the shower door is very stiff."

Suggest the rollers are greased. - the heating and water make a lot of noise at 0600 when they come on - maybe because the cupboard door does not close properly. - The fridge is very iced up & freezes the food at the back - maybe something to do with the door not closing as it should do. - alas, we did break mug!!! sorry. - the sink is just toooo impossibly small!!!
