With close proximity to the Bodmin Moors and several coastal towns, this base is perfect for families, groups and their furry companions wanting the best of both a rural retreat and beach holiday.

Be welcomed into a nicely-decorated living space where you'll be sure to enjoy a memorable stay.

Put on your favourite tunes on the Smart TV and have a karaoke or dance party while your group's designated chef whips up a feast in the fully-equipped kitchen for you all to dine around the dining table or out on the furnished decking when the sun is shining.

After the sun sets, don your bathing suits and head out to sink into the warmth of the hot tub while you gaze up at the stars.

Then quickly run inside to warm up with a steaming hot shower, and slip under the freshly-washed linens to catch some rest.

Venture out to visit Dobwalls and head to Highwood Park where you can have a picnic while the kids and dogs have fun running around the fields, grab an indulgent lunch at The Highwayman pub, and for a more educational trip head to The Southern Gallery.

Take the scenic route down to the beautiful city of Plymouth, making sure to stop at Mount Edgcumbe House and Country Park, a stunning and imposing 16th-century manor and grounds with an art gallery and its hilltop ruins of Mount Edgcumbe Folly which boasts sweeping views of the sea and Plymouth.

Then make your way to National Marine Aquarium to feed the marine life and have a waterside, alfresco family dinner at The Waterfront.

In the other direction, you'll find the town of Bodmin and Cardinham Woods with its stunning nature walks, a beautiful valley and bubbling stream.

Learn more about the town's local history by visiting Bodmin Town Museum, and see if you're brave enough to take a night ghost walk tour at the 18th-century Bodmin Jail Attraction.

There's something for everyone at 6 Faraway Fields.
