  • "Stunning property."

Perfect location. Spectacular views. John bray never fails us and we are looking forward to our next visit in Easter 2026. We have stayed in three John Bray properties in recent years in polzeath and every one has been totally different but equally high quality making it a joy to look forward to our next visit to find our next perfect holiday house.

  • "I did send an email on our arrival, but didn’t receive a response."

The house itself is lovely, but the sofa is dirty and so uncomfortable to sit on. The work tops in the kitchen wasn’t very clean and I had to wipe over them. The balcony has all green mould, which should have been cleaned or painted and new table’s as they are rusty. The garden furniture on the terrace hadn’t even been put in place round the table. If I had paid budget prices I would expect it, but I didn’t, so would expect everything to be pristine. Regardless of these disappointing issues, we still had a fabulous week and the property was in an excellent position.

Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry for the inconvenience caused by these issues. Your comments have been passed on to the team here at John Bray Cornish Holidays and to the owner. We are glad that you still managed to enjoy your visit despite these issues and would love to welcome you back to North Cornwall in the future. - John Bray Cornish Holidays on behalf of the owner. • "We loved our week in Stepper Point."

Beds were super comfortable. The views of the beach were spectacular and its location is perfect! We loved being able to walk down to the beach so easily and are already missing our morning Beach Box coffee & dog walk! We got in our car just twice during the holiday which was bliss!

  • "I have stayed in a number of John Bray properties in Polzeath, and was disappointed at how dirty this property was."

The floors whilst obviously hoovered were not mopped, they left a cloth black when used to clean up some spilt water. Lots of dust and cobwebs everywhere that had obviously been there sometime as littered with flies. Very poor abd not what I have come to expect as a John Bray property standard. There were no mops or brooms in the property, so we were unable to do anything ourselves. There is also no where to hang and dry wetsuits, so each sudsy the downstairs was swimming in water as we tried to hang the suits from doors etc. again no mops to clean up the water. Nice property poor general cleanliness, including dirty pots and pans. Disappointed

Thank you for taking the time to feedback on your stay! We're very sorry that you had to experience these issues during your stay but we will be looking into this internally to make sure this will not happen again. John Bray Cornish Holidays. • "It was only as we were driving down to Cornwall from Manchester that it was discovered there was a mix up with our booking."

It is when things go wrong that a company proves themselves. Penny from the John Bray office sorted it out brilliantly and immediately found alternative accommodation, got an extra bed and had it cleaned ready for our arrival! The new house was better than we could have hoped and we had a fantastic stay. Thank you to all the team for all your efforts last week! Best wishes Jo

  • "Stepper Point has fabulous views and the layout was perfect for us as a large family with teenagers as they could come and go without disturbing the adults."

As we all enjoy cooking it was great to have a kitchen full to the brim with kitchen utensils, cutlery and pots and pans and having a choice of two dining areas - one inside and one out was great. The beds in all the bedrooms were very comfortable and the linen was of a notable quality.
