We absolutely love this cottage - we have stayed here loads and will hopefully continue to do so. It has everything we need as an active family of 5 and the view from the lounge is just fantastic. Thank you so much for another brilliant holiday!

  • "The tv was far too small for the size of the property - we found it uncomfortable trying to see the screen from the other side of the lounge."

We’d read previous reviews about this and were surprised it hadn’t been addressed. The iron plate was dirty and inside there was a build up of limescale which marked my jeans when I used it. Apart from those annoyances the house was lovely- comfortable and homely and we’ll definitely be booking for next year.

  • "We absolutely loved our (fourth I think) stay at Trevega, which has everything you could possibly need for a family holiday (including a whisk now as we left ours there!"

) The beds are comfy, the kitchen is well equipped, the shower is great, there's an outside hose for rinsing wetsuits and the view is spectacular. We will definitely be back.

  • "We've stayed at Trevega many times over the years and we've had a lovely two weeks holiday, weather up and down but really don't mind as love Polzeath whatever the weather and just love sitting watching the sea from the window or bed."

Was pleasantly suprised with the new and very comfortable sofa and chair after mentioning many times in the past about the old one being very uncomfortable. The new bed was very comfortable too, just a shame the TV hasn't been upgraded to a decent size smart TV as I'm sure this one is even smaller than the last one. Think it's about time the website updated their pictures too. Was also very glad to find that there now is a gate to enclose the garden only to find a huge gap in the hedge which I had to block off with two garden chairs to stop my dog a big German Shepherd from going through to the neighbours garden. In my opinion properties accepting pets should be totally secure for peace of mind. Other than that we have always loved it here and it's probably been the one we've stayed in most as we love it. Happy days! Kim

Thank you so much for your kind words. It's great to hear that you had such a fabulous stay at Trevega and had the perfect base to explore the north Cornish coastline from! Your comments have been passed onto the Maintenance team who will get the hedge looked at promptly. John bray on behalf of the owners. Property Owner

  • "We've stayed countless times in Trevega for over 15 years; it's one of our favourite places to stay in Polzeath."

We particularly like the fact it's well suited to a beach holiday and not overly modern and high tech, unlike some newer properties. Delighted there were now some sun loungers, as the weather was lovely. Just a couple of notes -the mattresses on the twin beds probably finally need changing as they're a bit lumpy and hammock-like, these days.

Thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback on Trevega. It's great to hear you had a lovely stay at this property. We will investigate the lumpy mattresses. We hope to invite you back to North Cornwall again soon. Property Owner

  • "We love this property and have been staying here for years, it is our happy place."

Only two small things to mention, there are now only 4 wooden chairs outside , 2 more plastic ones in the garage, but as a party of 6 adults it would be great to have 6 chairs all the same height. Would be great to have a second frying pan in the kitchen. Thankyou again!
