Follow the heritage trail, another especially created for children or the Henry Rice Trail, taking in over 100 buildings designed by the architect. Discover more historic facts at the local museum and at Stuart House, a delightful arts and heritage centre. Other notable buildings include the Victorian Guildhall, Regency Market Hall and St. Martin's Church. Do also look out for the Pipe Well, fed by four springs and said to have healing powers, as well as decorative murals portraying scenes from Liskeard's past. And if you head just out of town you'll stumble across King Doniert's Stone, two intricately carved fragments of a 9th-Century Celtic cross and Trethevy Quoit, a Neolithic burial chamber.
