Previous visitors' comments about The Retreat:

A very restful holiday at 'The Retreat'. A warm welcome from the owners including flowers, milk, biscuits and wine. It was great to be able to use the Looe Valley Railway which is just a short walk to the Wishing Well Halt.
Mrs Carmichael, Wantage, October 2011

This is the second time we have been to the Retreat as we really enjoyed our visit, the couple who own this cottage are so friendly and they make sure every thing you need is provided, even the dogs get their treats. I am sure we will be returning again next year.
Mrs Mifsud, Manchester, October 2011

The cottage was very well equipped - the owners had thought to supply the kind of things you forget to take but that make all the difference. The flooring throughout was also great; just a quick mop to get rid of paw prints!
Mr Matlock, Oakham, September 2011

Very peaceful, lots of walks from the cottage, combining the railway with the planned walks there was no need to use the car on most days. The cottage was very clean and tidy. The little extras help to make it a great week.
Mr Snelgrove, Martock, September 2011
