The Property

The cottage has beautiful finishing and contemporary styling, with a light and airy feel in the open plan living area, which has original timber flooring throughout, and with a beautiful Shaker-style kitchen with black granite worktops and a natural slate floor. Perfect for a group of four, this St Columb cottage has two bedrooms and two bathrooms. The stone courtyard at the rear of your cottage in St Columb catches the sun, and is a pleasant area to enjoy a refreshing drink. The property was amazing. A stunningly beautiful renovation, attention to detail second to none, finish was better than any high end boutique hotel you could ever hope to stay in. Everything you could need was included, down to milk in the fridge, coffee, tea, sugar and biscuits to welcome us and some for the dog too, on top of a pile of extra towels just for her and a doggy dinner mat as well! Perfectly located to explore most of Cornwall 20 minutes from the coast in several directions. Could easily live there happily ever after; the pictures do not do it any justice or show just how big it is either.

The Old Smithy was very clean and well equipped. The village had a few shops and pubs for food which were only a short walk away. The accommodation was first class, the best we have ever stayed in and will hopefully be coming back soon.

Beautiful clean home.

The Old Smithy is a beautifully decorated and well equipped cottage. As a family we really enjoyed our time there, its located well for exploring Cornwall.
