  • "Lovely quirky cottage, very comfortable."

Lovely enclosed garden for the dog to use (thankfully there's a torch under the sink !) Would definitely recommend.

  • "This is a delightful cottage."

It had every facility needed and wi-fi was excellent. The beds were extremely comfortable. The kitchen and bathroom are very modern and very well equipped. For us it was very relaxing and our dog enjoyed the large enclosed garden. The cottage is situated close to Swindon and every facility was close by. We will certainly stay here again.

  • "Lovely little cottage and very well equipped."

Quaint and full of character with a lovely garden that our dog especially enjoyed. Peaceful surroundings and just what we wanted for our well needed short break. Super comfy bed and bedding, slept better here in four nights than at home, so have taken note of the mattress for future reference

  • "Cottage lovely, although living room smaller than it looked on website."

Weeds could have been cleared away from small courtyard off kitchen. Beautiful bedrooms and very comfortable beds. Mirror in main bedroom would be useful. Neighbours dog continually barking when let out. Lovely garden. . Needs attention. Lots of weeds and dead leaves in old butler sinks. Quiet . Only noise from rd at busy times.

  • "5 Packhorse is a delightful and captivating old cottage, full of charm and character, and yet it also has a large, fully equipped, modern kitchen, and a well fitted modern bathroom."

In short, it offers the best of both worlds. Although very close to Swindon, it is in a quiet rural location, with the Cotswolds only a short drive away.

Exactly what we hoped for- an absolutely idyllic weekend away from London. Thank you so much!
